How to Reset a Roomba

Do you want to reset Roomba robot vacuum to the factory default settings. Let us tell you it is very easy to restore the factory default settings on your robot vacuum. However, there’s one main thing that you need to remember and it is about the reset. When you reset your Roomba robot vacuum, the device goes back to its original settings. In other words, you are required to reconfigure the Roomba robot vacuum using the iRobot Home app. 

You can reset your device using the iRobot Home app and the physical buttons as well. Here’s a quick way to revert your robot vacuum’s settings to the factory defaults:

1. Login to the iRobot account using the iRobot Home app. 
2. Enter the email address and password. Click Login. 
3. After that, go to Product Settings and then select About. 
4. Next, tap Remove Device from Account. 
5. Finally, the Roomba robot vacuum will be reset successfully. 

If you want to reset your device using the buttons on your robot, you can follow the steps below:

1. Firstly, make sure the robot vacuum is powered On. 
2. Press the CLEAN and HOME button for at least 20 seconds. 
3. Thereafter, release the buttons and the reset will begin. 
4. Finally, the robot vacuum will be reset successfully.
